Saurotopia

She gave the dinosaurs life. The corporation left them to die. Saurotopia was the triumph of an age: an orbital habitat above Mars where scientist Sadira Kamali brought three species of dinosaurs back from extinction. Then the corporation abandoned them to freeze. Years later Sadira returns with a salvage crew expecting a boneyard. Instead she finds a thawed world filled with a herd of plant-eaters that mourn their dead, and savagely intelligent predators intent on trophy hunting. Another human crew got here before her. Their leader rewired the dinosaurs' nervous systems and enhanced their brains. Now the weapons her team carries no longer work to defend them. One dinosaur remembers her. One trusts her. In Saurotopia, trust gets people killed. Can Sadira save the species she gave life to? Or has she returned only to watch her greatest work tear itself apart? Pick up Saurotopia and step into a world that outgrew its makers. Dave Creek Rosemary Claire Smith
