Sassy Skirt Sewing Pattern

DIY Mini Skirt with Passport Pocket Sewing Pattern Do you have 2 yards of woven fabric and feel like getting crafty? This project might just fulfill your craving!  Teresa Remple started Texture Clothing with 5 styles, hand dyeing them all. Made from hand dyed 100% hemp fabric, the Sassy Skirt, and it's longer sister, the Market Skirt, were in the original collection. So many customers asked for this sewing pattern, and it's finally available! Now you can make your own DIY skirt with a hidden passport pocket. Because you will be making it yourself, you can choose your desired hem length. You can make your own skirt using something from your own woven (not a jersey) fabric stash, purchase a piece of hemp fabric from the same vendor that we do, or have one of our patterns printed onto organic cotton! This style is great for both small and plus sized frames as it offers sizes XS - XXL. To figure out what size to make, it's best to decide if you want the waistband to be higher on the waist or lower on your hips...then you can measure the waistband piece and cut the appropriate pattern piece out. After you purchase the pattern, you will be emailed a link containing the sewing directions, and 3 types of files to download. You can decide if you want to send the pattern to be plotted out at a printer or if you want to print it on legal or letter size and tape it together. The sewing directions have a couple of links to secret YouTube videos that will help you with sewing the invisible zippers. This sewing pattern is for personal non-commercial use only. No part of this sewing pattern is to be reproduced for a profit or shared. No garments made from using pieces of this sewing pattern are to be sold for a profit. Follow Texture Clothing Patterns on Instagram! Questions? Ask us!
