Sashco Lexel, Clear Synthetic Rubber Sealant, Waterproof & Flexible (10.5 fl. oz.)

Lexel® is the tough elastic sealant for every interior and exterior job. That’s why we call it the “duct tape” of sealants. It has superior adhesion to almost any surface, wet or dry, and is instantly waterproof! Lexel® is extremely elastic and can handle up to 400% joint movement so it won’t crack over time, meaning you only need to do a job once. It is paintable, sticks to itself and is crystal clear. In fact, it is 19 times clearer than silicone and won’t yellow or get cloudy over time. Best yet, you never have to worry about leaving Lexel® in your truck or garage since it is permanently freeze-thaw stable. After all, no one likes to waste a tube of sealant. Lexel® truly is the only sealant you need in your toolbox and it won’t let you down. *The elastic nature of Lexel® is what makes it the perfect sealant for solar pool heating installations. These systems undergo normal expansion and contraction as they heat and cool, meaning you need a sealant that will bend and flex right along with it. Lexel® is the sealant used by our installers and we highly recommend it for any DIY project.   CLEAR, FLEXIBLE AND TOUGH! Lexel’s® seal is 19 times clearer than silicone and can handle up to 400% joint movement. That means Lexel® will bend and flex with your home and will stay clear the entire time. Lexel® won’t stain or yellow even when it faces harsh UV exposure, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads during routine cleaning and maintenance. CAMOUFLAGES LIKE A CHAMELEON. Unlike silicone, Lexel® is paintable – you’ll never have to worry about paint separating from the sealant.  Because it’s easy to paint, you can use Lexel® on a wide-variety of projects, both interior and exterior. FEARLESS AGAINST ALL WEATHER. Sorry, but no more pushing off your projects. With Lexel’s® super adhesiveness, you don’t need to wait for the next nice day to get to work. Lexel is waterproof, immediately upon application and never freezes, which means it can be applied even in the wettest or coldest of conditions.
