Sarracenia Starry Night

Sarracenia 'Starry Night' is a rarely-offered pitcher plant hybrid from the late Larry Mellichamp, resulting from a cross of Sarracenia leucophylla and Sarracenia minor. The 2' tall green pitchers are adorned with large white skylights along the neck and the hood. The pitchers are a bit red in the face and neck, and fluids accumulate in the throat, but we've had it tested for COVID and the test came back negative. Larry said that Sarracenia 'Starry Night' was one of his favorites, but the slow rate of division has kept it from getting widely distributed.
