Sandea Herbicide   Sandea is a selective herbicide for control of listed broadleaf weeds and nutsedge. Sandea is a dry flowable formulation and is effective both preemergence and postemergence. It can be absorbed thruogh roots, shoots, foliage and is translocated within the plant. Sandea is a member of the sulfonylurea family, and is an ALS enzyme inhibiting herbicide. To minimize the potential for resistance development and/or to control weed biotypes, use a variety of cultural, mechanical, and chemical wed control tactics. Rotate with herbicides having different modes of action. Rate of use: Between 0.5 - 2 ounces per acre depending on the crop being treated. See product label for full details. Sandea can be applied as a broadcast or band application. For band applications, use proportionally less spray mixture based on the area actually sprayed. Do not concentrate the band.
