Sandbar Spike

We all love our gas-fired SS Magma® grills but the truth is the things flare up like crazy, and most often than not you don't have the damned spray bottle at hand.  What happens when the tiny grease tray overfills? How many times have you or some guest has gotten some greasy steak on your pristine deck? Do you feel left out, having to climb aboard to do the grilling while the party is down at the water? Have you ever found an umbrella tall enough or sturdy enough to stand on its own on the sandbar? If you've ever had any of those questions on your mind we have the answer for you. It's simple but works brilliantly. 61 inches of thick and sturdy, schedule 40, bright marine spec anodized aluminum pipe, tipped by a perfectly angled, lathed from a solid bar of 5052 H23 series aluminum spike tip, and on the other end a deluxe, bright anodized 10-inch rod holder with its tulip black rubber liner that snugly holds any standard rod holder mount accessory plus any portable umbrella. You and your crew will have a happy, safe, and clean sandbar party with zero fuss. Setting it up is very easy: just rock it sideways a few times with a little pressure, stand it at the desired angle and let the sand settle around it. You'll have a rock-steady platform in less than a minute. When you're done just give it a gentle twisting tug and it's out.
