Backstory / HistoryThe Sand Viper is Cobra's elite desert warfare trooper — a specialist bred and trained for operations in the harshest arid environments on earth. Where standard Vipers might falter in the brutal heat and blinding sand of Cobra's desert theater operations, Sand Vipers thrive, leveraging their environmental training and specialized equipment to strike fast and disappear back into the terrain. They are Cobra's answer to the deserts of the Middle East, Africa, and the American Southwest — patient, lethal, and utterly comfortable in conditions that would break a lesser soldier. For collectors building Cobra desert operation dioramas or Middle Eastern theater builds, the Sand Viper is an essential army-builder addition to the Cobra ranks.
