Salvaged Teak Side Table

And let's not forget about how each piece is uniquely yours, with curves, knots, cracks, imperfections, and variations preserved to retain the natural character of the teak wood. This golden-toned wood has been prized by modernist designers and traditional wood craftsmen for its resistance to cracking or warping. The sturdy matte black industrial steel legs give a subtle mid-century modern feel that contrasts nicely with the natural top. And get this, you can use it indoors or in covered outdoor areas, and if left outdoors, the tabletop will age to a silvery gray color. But don't worry, to maintain the original golden color, just apply some natural teak oil to the tabletop surface. Each piece varies due to the organic nature of the tree from which it was carved, but on average, it will be 19.7" long x 23.6" wide x 21" tall.
