Saltstick Electrolyte + Caffeine Capsules

The Plus of SaltStick Plus Electrolyte Capsules is caffeine. 30mg of which you can find in each capsule. The caffeine is a buzz, a jolt, a boost, and when combined with the rest of the goodness in SaltStick capsules, it's a pretty potent performance enhancer. The capsules have been mixed with the electrolytes you lose during athletic endeavors. The important four are calcium (190mg), chloride (50mg), magnesium (7mg), potassium (53mg), and sodium (190mg). Vitamin D3 is present, 100IU, to help the body assimilate the calcium. Sodium Citrate is used to give you sodium because it feels less salty if you taste it, and it's easier on the stomach than sodium chloride. If you've taken a look at the ingredients for the SaltStick capsules, you'll see that the quantities of electrolytes are lower. This is because the caffeine takes up some room in the capsule. And just to make sure you don't get confused this bottle has a green cap and the capsules themselves are green and white: the regular caps have a black cap on the bottle and are white. As with SaltStick caps, the key to using this supplement well is to test it out in training. They say 1-2 capsules an hour, but that's a pretty rough guide. It could be more or less, depending on you (like whether or not you're a salty sweater), the length of your effort, the intensity, and the weather you're exercising in. Some folks are able to get down the capsules with a swig of water or sports drink, while others bite it, while others empty the capsules into their water or sports drink. Having it in liquid means it gets into your system faster, though the liquid does disperse the ingredients over a greater volume. As many of the popular athletic beverages have electrolytes in them, you'll have to figure out for yourself how to balance the electrolytes in them with the electrolytes here. SaltStick Caps Plus deliver caffeine with electrolytes, both restocking your body and charging it at the same time.
