SaltStick Electrolyte Capsules

Balancing your electrolytes is seen by many as the key to keeping exercising as the hours tick by. SaltStick Electrolyte Capsules put all your electrolyte needs into a single serving. Just one gulp and go. Electrolytes are minerals that your body needs to work. The five you need are calcium, chloride, magnesium, potassium, and sodium. These allow your muscle to work. If you think you don't need them, try to recall that last time you cramped on a long ride. There's a good chance the culprit was a few of these minerals. Instead of getting your electrolytes in a drink, these capsules allow you to get those substances with any drink. Each serving has 215mg of sodium, 63mg of potassium, 22mg of calcium, 11mg of magnesium, and 350mg of chloride. How many of these you need depends on your body and your effort. These are minerals you need to replenish, as you're busy sweating them out as you exercise. This is why sports drinks include electrolytes. SaltStick gives you the ability to not only get down quantity fast, but the ability to tailor your dosage to your needs. If you're a salty sweater and overheating on a hard effort, maybe two an hour. Not a salty sweater and going easy, perhaps one. The capsule should take around 15 minutes or so to dissolve, though you can also open up the capsules to mix with water or sports drink and it will get absorbed faster. Note that more than two per bottle is not recommended. There are sensitive stomachs out there, particularly when going at 100%, which is why SaltStick uses sodium citrate to provide sodium. It soothes the stomach as it is in a form that the body can easily assimilate. SaltStick Electrolyte Caps give you the electrolytes you need in a form that allows you to decide what you can drink and when.
