Heim Söhne began as a tortoiseshell comb factory and quickly became Europe’s leading producer of tortoiseshell goods. By the early 1900s, their award-winning designs earned international acclaim. In the spirit of sustainability, the third generation pioneered the use of Plexiglas® as an ethical alternative—preserving the elegance of the original material while protecting marine life. Now in its fifth and sixth generation, Heim continues to craft refined, high-quality products for the table—combining tradition, innovation, and a deep love of form.
