Salsa per Amatori Rustica (RUSTIC SAUCE STARTER)

Crispino “Salsa Per Amatori Rustica” — Calabrian Roasted Tomato Passata (No Salt, No Citric Acid, No Concentrate) Smoky, robust, and unmistakably Calabrian, Crispino Salsa Per Amatori Rustica is a roasted tomato passata that celebrates the deeper, earthier side of Southern Italy’s culinary tradition. Made entirely in Calabria, this sauce captures the intense flavor of tomatoes that are first sun-ripened, then slow-roasted to coax out a rich, caramelized sweetness and a warm, smoky undertone. Crafted from tomatoes grown within a 50-kilometer local radius, this Rustica passata is processed within hours of harvest to preserve the tomatoes’ natural purity. True to Famiglia Crispino’s clean-label philosophy, it contains no tomato concentrate, no citric acid, no added salt, no preservatives, and no dyes — just pure roasted tomatoes, elevated by slow cooking and traditional Calabrian technique. Taycte/MySapori is proud to bring one of Italy’s most authentic roasted tomato passatas to the U.S. market — a product that is rarely exported and almost never found in its pure form.
