salomon sight snowboard

The Sight is an all-mountain snowboard with a freeride inspired shape. A tapered directional shape enhances turning sensation and float, with Cross Profile camber for stability on groomers. Using eco-friendly cork rails the Sight makes hard pack feel like butter while reducing the impact on the planet. CAMBER PROFILE Cross Profile – Camber between the feet for better control, pop and landing stability. Rocker on tip and tail for effortless flotation forward and switch. Salomon Snowboard Rocker Profile FLEX 2.5/5 (1=Soft,5=Stiff) SHAPE Directional – A freeride focused shape for float in softer snow and powerful carves on groomers. Quadratic Sidecut – A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions. CORE Popster – Popster's shaped core profile thins out under foot and thickens outside your bindings before tapering again at tip and tail to maximize the natural snap and pop of wood. Feels like your skateboard kicktail finally connected with your snowboard. Aspen Strong Core – CNC-selected high-density FSC certified wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush. LAMINATES BA LD – Low-density fibers allow Salomon to produce lighter boards that keep their playful forgiving flex forever. SIDEWALLS Royal Cork Rails – Keep the planet and your edges in good shape with this eco version of Royal Rubber Rails. All the impact and chatter absorption you need in a planet-friendly cork package. BASE Extruded – Offers long lasting glide with low-maintenance characteristics.
