1930s-40s Vintage railroad logging car salesman sample demonstrating a quick-release tension system used to keep traveling logs snug and taut, while being able to unload logs quickly once they reach their final destination. For this salesman sample, the railcar itself would not be operable meaning this item was likely a prototype or an example. It is unknown if logging railcar manufacturers like Russel Wheel & Foundry, Seattle Car & Foundry, Pacific Car, etc., produced this sample or implemented the tension-release device shown. Case has signs of wear including a hole, but the railcar sample is in excellent condition. Please see photos for details. Case is 13" W x 5.5" D x 6.5" H JP - 12968 - 040925 For information regarding shipping, please visit our Terms & Conditions page here.
