Salbjörg 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

Step into the world of Norse sagas with this Norse-inspired clothing pattern, designed for 18-inch dolls. This design draws inspiration from traditional Scandinavian garments of the early Middle Ages, blending elegance, symbolism, and craftsmanship. The pattern allows you to create a richly detailed outfit made up of several layered elements — a dress, an hangaroc (apron dress), an apron, a necklace, and a large blanket that can be used as a shawl — reflecting the daily life and social status of women in Norse societies. The lines are simple yet expressive, leaving full freedom in your choice of fabrics, textures, and finishing details. Whether you wish to expand your doll’s wardrobe or simply enjoy the beauty of intricate embroidery details, this pattern invites you to bring the spirit of historical Scandinavian women to life through sewing.
