Sakura Paper Cutting Set

Kirigami is the art of folding and cutting paper into decorative shapes. This craft pack supplies you with 20 sheets of one-sided paper in four shades of pink and another 20 sheets of double-sided pink paper, enough to make a cloud of sakura blossoms to hang from the ceiling , a tree, or to affix to a window or wall. Included are instructions in Japanese (with visual directions too) and templates for folding and cutting 16 different blossom shapes. This is not for beginners, but children may be able to use with some adult supervision. You will need to provide your own (sharp!) scissors, glue, pencil, straightedge and eraser. (And a note from this editor, it's all in the proper, precise folding!)
