Saint Veronica

When photographer Lindsey Grace Whiddon took this shot of her friend April, all she could think was that it “encapsulated her perfectly.” This image is both an ode to April and to Lindsey’s dad. “My dad is a big reason why I ride,” she says. Whiddon’s dad, who also rides motorcycles, originally wanted to name his daughter Veronica. Lindsey likes to name her prints after female saints, but still wanted to pay tribute to her dad. “I thought Saint Veronica would be fitting,” she says. He may not have gotten to name Lindsey exactly what he wanted, but with this stunning print, Lindsey’s dad finally got his Veronica.
