Visit our website to learn his full story. Saint Minas was and remains a great miracle-worker, both on earth and in heaven. Whoever glorifies St. Minas and invokes his help with faith, receives his help. The saint has often appeared as a warrior on horseback, arriving to help the faithful or punish the unfaithful. Forsaking an earthly army, O prize-winner, you received a heavenly inheritance, after receiving glory from earthly kings, O wise one, you endured martyrdom and received an unfading crown. Therefore, O Great Martyr Minas, intercede with Christ God to save our souls. -Troparion for Saint Minas Saint Minas is commemorated on November 11. *** This icon is made of solid, natural Limewood that has been prepared by hand using traditional methods and organic materials.
