Sailing 2000

Poster  This vivid and joyful poster features iconic imagery from Max's signature '60s 'Cosmic Art' period - an era of works where the artist's uplifting interpretation of pop art addressed the hope of the peace-and-love movement.  Max created this poster at the end of the 20th century, looking to the dawn of the new millennium with the same hope and optimism. In his boldest and most striking of color palettes, Max renders a trio of his 'Zen Boats' sailing with peace doves on a lake with mountains and flowers on the horizon, as a magnificent sun with other celestial bodies guides above. This poster is gorgeously reproduced capturing Max's fantastical, otherworldly kaleidoscope of colors.  1999 24 x 18 inches © ALP, Inc. Posters sold signed and dedicated only.
