SAIL DITTY TOTE [1 OUT OF 10]

This tote is full of unexpected details. It naturally draws the eye while remaining practical enough for everyday use.  An everyday tote made from upcycled heavy-duty sail fabric, finished with vegetable-tanned leather handles. The Sail Ditty takes us back to the bag’s roots, when sailors carried small canvas bags for their sewing supplies. We kept the original sail details where we could, including reinforcements, marks, and texture. Each bag comes out a little different. It is reinforced with upcycled firefighters' hose featuring its original industrial stenciling, making every bag subtly unique while adding exceptional strength where it matters most. Fine leather handles elevate the bag, adding a refined contrast to its rugged construction. Designed for versatility, the tote features two sets of leather handles: shorter handles for carrying by hand and longer straps that sit comfortably on the shoulder, adapting effortlessly throughout the day. A large internal pocket with a secure clip closure comfortably fits a 16-inch laptop while keeping your essentials organised and within easy reach. The Sail Ditty comes with a quilt navy lining.  Inside, a thoughtfully engineered pull-out key system keeps your essentials close at hand. Attach your keys or wallet to the built-in lobster clip, then simply pull the exterior ring to retrieve them instantly- no more searching through the bottom of your bag. Inspired by traditional ditty bags, the opening is finished with an internal rope running through the top panel. Tighten it from either side to secure the contents and subtly reshape the silhouette, or leave it open for easy access. The silhouette can also be transformed in seconds. Fold the side panels inward and secure them together with hidden snap buttons to create a more compact, sculptural shape, giving the bag two distinct personalities in one. We only made a limited run of this bag. Each bag is individually numbered with its own unique serial number-a friendly reminder that no two are exactly alike.  Dimensions:  Expanded Top Width: 27.6" (70 cm) Height (without leather handles): 18.9" (48 cm) Bottom Width: 16.5" (42 cm) Depth: 10.6" (27 cm) Folded Width: 16.5" (42 cm) Height (without leather handles): 18.9" (48 cm) Depth: 10.6" (27 cm) Shoulder Strap Drop 11.8" (30 cm)
