Sagebrush and Wildflowers | Prints

Sagebrush is not a member of sage family but the sunflower family. When attacked by insects, sagebrush can talk to each other by emitting a volatile organic compound that neighboring sagebrush plants can sense and then produce defensive chemicals to protect itself. This beautiful plant blooms in late summer or early fall, typically flowering right before the first frost. The flowers rely on wind and freezing temperatures to ripen the seeds. Endangered greater sage - grouse relies on it for food. The plant is being diminished from overgrazing of livestock, wild fires, and invasive species. Our trucker hats are light weight (made with foam in the front) super vibrant, comfortable, adjustable and keep the sun out of your eyes, the elements off your face, and the wild protected. Made to order - returns are not accepted. Please do not order mats or frames until after the prints arrive - slight variations may occur. Generating awareness around threatened species and wildlands through affordable and functional art.
