Sage Signal Rods Sage Signal rods are fast‑action saltwater fly rods built for anglers who demand lightweight performance, crisp responsiveness, and true on‑the-water value. Powered by KonneticHD Technology, the Sage Signal rods deliver tight loops, quick recovery, and the kind of intuitive feel that makes long shots and close‑range presentations equally confident. Designed specifically for saltwater environments, it thrives on the flats, can power casts through offshore wind, and maintains the backbone needed when powerful fish turn and run.  Our staff was genuinely impressed when casting the Sage Signal rods — the smooth loading paired with a surprisingly powerful design makes the Signal stand out in its class. Whether you're stalking bonefish, feeding picky permit, battling GTs, or putting pressure on tarpon, Sage Signal rods are fully capable and ready for action. For anglers seeking a high‑performance saltwater rod at an exceptional value, the Signal delivers reliability, finesse, and strength where it matters most. Here's what Sage has to say about their Sage Signal Rods: TUNE IN. AND TURN IT UP. Saltwater fly fishing is a story of signs. Subtle cues that pique our senses, inform our responses and, when read correctly, catch us fish. Tails breaking the tranquil spell of an untrammeled flat. The adrenaline-inducing V-wake of an oversized, opalescent permit. The quickening motion of your guide’s weathered hands, working the push pole with fresh determination – signaling it’s your time to shine. New Sage SIGNAL answers the call with a smart blend of responsive loop control, tenacious strength and uncomplicated castability. A beacon for how it all begins and where you belong. From saltwater initiations to new fishery and species explorations, consistent success comes down to dialing in the elements we can control to crush the ones we can’t. That’s why Sage SIGNAL is thoughtfully designed for the kind of intuitive performance that puts you in command of the outcome. Whether it’s short, punch-y shots to fast-approaching targets or long, subtle deliveries to meandering, migratory tarpon, this far-reaching, fast-thinking rod family comes ready for anything with an ultra-responsive action and the kind of saltwater stamina that sets it apart from the slackers. Tune in and transcend with Sage SIGNAL. All Sage Signal Rods are 4-piece rods.
