The Sage Classic R8 rods are perfect for protecting light tippet, and fishing small dries and nymphs with a floating line. These Sage Classic R8 rods really let the angler slow down and feel rod work. They are reminiscent of some of the old classic rods from Sage, like the Light Line, and the ZXL, but with Revolution 8 Technology they are extremely lightweight, responsive, accurate, and recover very fast. A rod like the Sage Classic R8 is something that every trout angler should have in their quiver.  All Sage Classic R8 Rods are 4-piece rods.
