Dried Herbs - Sage

USDA Certified 100% Organic Grown at our organic farm in Pennsylvania, our herbs are harvested at their peak and dried while maintaining the highest quality and freshness possible with minimal processing. Leaves are in large pieces - crush before use to release aromatic oils and flavor.   Sage has a pungent aroma and a strong, slightly minty, taste. Traditionally, it's used to flavor sausages and in stuffing for fatty meats such as pork or your Thanksgiving turkey stuffing!  For you vegetarians out there - sage is a great addition to mushroom orzo or risotto!
