Sagae Hosta

(Mature Size: 31"T x 70"W) American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year 2000, Spectacular large blue-green leaves with variations of creamy white on the margins make this hosta stand out in any garden setting. Leaves are frosty blue in spring with a feathered yellow margin. Grey-green streaks are painted in the area between the center and the margin. In mid-summer leaves are blue-green and the margin becomes more creamy white. Being very large and upright in habit makes this hosta work well with smaller hostas surrounding it.  We are always drawn to this hosta when we see a mature clump in a garden. Pale lavender flowers in mid-summer. Why Should I Grow It? You need a beautiful large hosta as a specimen plant.  (K.
