SafeGuard Dry Sterilization Wrap

SafeGuard Dry is a sterilization wrap engineered specifically to combat one of the most common and costly issues in sterile processing: wet packs. Designed for use in Steam and Ethylene Oxide sterilization cycles, SafeGuard Dry features a dual-layer construction combining wetlaid and SMS materials. The wetlaid layer is highly absorbent, helping to capture and wick away retained moisture, while the SMS layer provides a strong microbial barrier and mechanical durability. Together, they create an ideal environment for ensuring that instrument sets emerge dry and ready for safe storage or use. SafeGuard Dry integrates seamlessly into current sterilization workflows without requiring changes in equipment or protocols—making it an easy drop-in solution for departments struggling with wet pack incidents. The wrap is lightweight and easy to handle, providing SPD technicians with a user-friendly experience that does not compromise on performance. With SafeGuard Dry, facilities can enhance sterility assurance, reduce delays due to reprocessing, and maintain surgical throughput—all while supporting compliance with industry standards. Backed by Healthmark’s reputation for innovative, education-driven infection control solutions, SafeGuard Dry offers SPDs a new standard in confidence and control. SafeGuard Dry can be purchased in six (6) different square sizes.
