Saddleback Cowl

The Saddleback Cowl pattern is two crocheted cowls in one. These cowls are both crocheted using the same Jacob's Ladder stitch. Left as-is, you have a warm but airy accessory. Or, use your hook to chain the ladder rungs together from bottom to top for a dense neckwarmer that's warm enough to wear on the slopes and attractive enough to wear out on the town. Whatever version you choose to make, you'll love this fun and easy project! Sizes: Version 1 (closed) measures 8" tall with a 22" circumference Version 2 (open) measures 10" tall with a 26" circumference Yarn: Norumbega by Halcyon Signature, 1 skein Version 1 shown in color 0480, Loden Version 2 shown in color 0260, Blue Jay Gauge: 16 sts to 4" in Jacob's Ladder pattern using size K crochet hook.
