Sacrificial Lamb

People are manipulated, controlled, and savagely discarded. The prayers of a kidnapped woman go unanswered. Strangers are being sacrificed. Their bodies are clues left for Jacob Daniels. Daniels had once prevented a woman from being pulled through the doorway to hell. Unable to destroy the door, he buried it. Someone dug it up, defiled the family plot. The woman is still under the influence of whoever wanted her. She’s waiting for Daniels and believes they’re meant to be together. But only if he can solve the puzzle that will lead him to her. It’s a deadly game of love. His abilities are malfunctioning, being blocked. Daniels can’t feel the thoughts, hearts and minds of people he wants to believe are fine. Are they? Are they part of the puzzle he’s struggling to solve? Or have his denials of being psychic manifested themselves and doomed the people he cares about? How many bloody puzzle pieces will he have to sort through to find the key, end the sacrifices, and make sure the door stays closed? A.W. Powers
