Sacha™ Clematis

Bring a vertical splash of electric color to your outdoor living space with the award-winning Sacha™ Clematis (Clematis 'Evipo060'). Part of the world-renowned Boulevard® Collection by Raymond Evison, Sacha was bred specifically to solve the problem of traditional clematis vines outgrowing their welcome. If you have a small balcony, a cozy patio, or a garden border that needs a punch of color without the footprint of a massive climber, this is your plant. Prolific Deep Blue Blooms The standout feature of the Sacha Clematis is the sheer abundance of its flowers. Starting in early summer, the vine is smothered in medium-sized, vibrant deep blue to violet-blue blossoms. These aren't just one-and-done bloomers; Sacha is a "multi-flowering" marvel, providing a continuous display that lasts through the heat of mid-summer and well into the crisp days of early autumn. The petals have a subtle, velvety texture that catches the light, creating a shimmering effect against the clean green foliage. Designed for Small Spaces While many Clematis varieties can grow 10 to 20 feet long, Sacha remains a polite and manageable 4 to 5 feet tall. This compact habit makes it the perfect candidate for a decorative obelisk in a large ceramic pot or a trellis against a porch pillar. It creates a dense "pillar of color" rather than a sprawling mess, allowing you to enjoy the elegance of a flowering vine even in a limited landscape. Seasonal Versatility Through the spring, watch the fresh green shoots emerge with vigor. By June, the first wave of deep blue transforms your garden into a pollinator paradise, attracting bees and butterflies. As the seasons shift to fall, the plant continues to produce new buds, ensuring your garden remains lively until the first frosts. Because it is so hardy and easy to prune, Sacha Clematis is an excellent choice for both beginner gardeners and seasoned collectors looking for a reliable, "workhorse" perennial vine.
