Compatible with OEM head gaskets for a reliable and precise fit Enhances sealing for high-boost and high-compression builds Requires professional installation by a reputable engine builder How Fire Rings Work Fire Rings are precision-machined metal rings that sit within grooves cut into the engine block, depending on the engine and build demands. When the cylinder head is torqued down, the rings slightly bite into the head gasket creating a mechanical barrier that prevents combustion pressure from leaking. This enhances head gasket reliability, particularly in high boost and high-horsepower builds. Block machining is required; installation by a professional engine builder is advised.
