S0011 - Mr Hanky Mouse Pattern - Brown

The Mr. Hanky Mouse is a highly effective topwater fly designed to mimic a swimming mouse or vole, making it a prime choice for targeting aggressive trout. This pattern shines during late summer and fall, especially at night when big browns prowl the shallows looking for large meals. Its foam body, lifelike tail, and realistic wake create an irresistible surface disturbance that triggers explosive strikes. Fish it with a slow retrieve and subtle twitches along grassy banks and log jams. A go-to fly for nocturnal trophy hunting on Montana’s Madison, Missouri, and Yellowstone Rivers.
