Like its trail cousin GS:CCD, this road-going Speedland RX:CCD is inspired by ultra athlete Cam Hanes and the Cocodona race in Arizona. However, its details make it an identical twin with its original road sibling, the RX:FPY. In short, these two RX: options are different colorways of the same shoe. For this RX:CCD's midsole, Speedland proudly continues their use of uncompressed HTPU superfoam for the carrier layer. Together with the drop-in core layer of supercritical foam, you'll experience the best of all worlds: elite and enduring responsiveness with plusher comfort closer to your soles. For the showstopper, you can remove the included carbon fiber plate as often and easily as you like. Simply pull out the drop-in top layer of foam, easily snap the plate in or out, and slide the drop-in layer back in. With this visionary design, now you can change your super shoe from aggressive racer to softer trainer and back again. Not to be outdone, the airy spacer mesh upper is upgraded with a multi-directional Li2 dial. This BOA Fit System dial enables quick micro-adjustments tighter and looser.
