World Spice Rwandan Green

World Spice Rwandan Green Tea: High-Altitude Mountain Flavor World Spice Rwandan Green tea delivers a refined tasting experience crafted from small-farm leaves cultivated roughly 1800 meters above sea level. The dried foliage presents deep dark green tones that unfurl into a brilliant lime-green infusion. Each sip reveals a remarkably smooth and mild profile accented by subtle savory notes, making it a standout choice among African origin green teas. Packed in a convenient 4oz container, this loose-leaf tea retains its delicate aromatics until open. Proper extraction is straightforward: measure two to three teaspoons per 8oz serving and steep in heated water held at 175°F for exactly three to four minutes. Temperature control prevents any grassy harshness and allows the highland minerality to shine through clearly. Why You'll Love It Sloped mountain terrain produces dense leaves with concentrated natural oils Crisp lime-green liquor that looks as polished as it tastes Low-tannin build keeps the flavor approachable even with longer steeps Compact 4oz bag preserves freshness without taking up pantry space Clear temperature and duration guidelines eliminate guesswork in your kitchen Best On Morning routines requiring steady alertness without jitters Afternoon wind-down periods between meals Pairings with lightly sweetened pastries or buttered toast Delicate fish preparations where herbal brightness complements rather than overwhelms Pro Tips Preheat your teapot or mug with hot water before adding leaves to maintain consistent 175°F extraction Use loose-leaf infusers rather than paper bags to allow full leaf expansion and richer flavor release Store the sealed package in a cool, dark cupboard to preserve the delicate savory compounds over time Who's This For? Drinkers seeking single-origin green tea outside mainstream market blends Manual brewers who prefer precise temperature control over pre-packaged sachets Traffic-heavy schedules looking for a moderate-caffeine daily staple Hosts pouring cups for guests who favor clean, understated flavor profiles FAQ How does the 1800-meter growing elevation affect the flavor? Elevated mountain conditions slow cellular development within each leaf, which naturally reduces bitterness while concentrating amino acids that create the smooth, mild mouthfeel. Can I make iced tea with these loose leaves? Absolutely. Substitute hot water with room-temperature filtered water and extend the steep to six to eight hours in the refrigerator for a crisp, clarified iced version. Will this tea turn bitter if steeped too long? The grade and farming practices here yield lower tannin levels compared to many commercial greens. Even a five-minute steep stays gently balanced, though three to four minutes remains the recommended window for peak clarity.
