Rwanda Ikezere | Medium Roast Coffee

A Masterclass in Precision Processing.   Rwanda Ikizere is a striking, dynamic single-origin nestled between the Nyungwe National Forest and the Burundi border. This coffee represents a flawless execution of the traditional washed method. Expect a beautifully structured cup that offers crisp apricot and peach before settling into a refined, honey sweetness. Consciously Sourced, Humanely Driven:   The Fugi station has become a celebrated hub for processing innovation under the leadership of Emmanuel Rusatira. Named Ikizere (meaning "confidence" in Kinyarwanda) to honor the elite collective of 100+ women producers who hand-selected and meticulously sorted this lot. Because of their strict commitment to delivering flawless cherry quality, these are the highest priced cherries in the country, funding their families' annual health insurance premiums, and investing in clean water infrastructure. Purchasing Rwanda Ikezere directly helps fund these families and their community.  Flavor Profile & Brewing:     Origin: Nyaruguru District, Rwanda Roast Level: Medium Roast  Process: Washed (A 28 day pristine process) Tasting Notes: Apricot, Black Tea, and Honey Versatility: Perfect for a vibrant pour-over, a crisp, floral iced coffee, or a bright single-origin espresso. Our Rotating Roasts are small to medium batch lots, each from a different region with a different story to tell. There are so many different coffee-growing regions, and we want to provide an accessible passport to each of them.
