Rusty's Rocker Armor - '76-'86 CJ-7

NOTE: Please be aware that this product is built upon order completion. Typical lead times are approximately 21 business days.  JKs and TJs may be all the rage these days, but CJs are still very popular. While other brands keep discontinuing their CJ products and accessories, we keep growing ours! Rusty's CJ-7 Rocker Armor is the next generation of superior rocker protection! A new take on a classic design, the new CJ-7 Rocker Armor is a tubular bar / step combo! Our CJ-7 Rocker Armor offers full-length protection and incorporates a handy tubular step that eases vehicle entry and egress, plus adds an extra layer of body protection from trees! They feature over 10 inches of under-body protection, but they also offer full sheet metal protection under the flares, which is a Rusty’s exclusive! Now you can climb over rocks and stumps and just slide down the rockers without having to worry about trail damage! Rusty's CJ-7 Rocker Armor starts with 3/16" thick laser-cut pickled and oiled steel that is then CNC formed for an exact fit. A nearly full-length bar is then added (shortened only to clear the fender flares) that is 2" x 0.120-wall DOM tubing. A dimple-died step is conveniently located under to door to act as a step that makes it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. In addition to acting as a step, the bar offers extra protection from trees, rocks and boulders. Seven stainless steel button head bolts attach the Armor to the factory rockers and side panels. This design ensures nothing is going to be damaged by dragging the underside of the rockers against rocks and other obstacles. Last but certainly not least, Rusty's CJ-7 Rocker Armor is e-coated and then powder coated gloss black for clean looks and durability. Only Rusty's combines the look you want with the protection you demand! NOTE: May not work with all after market replacement fenders. KEY FEATURES: Constructed of 3/16" thick steel Provides true wheel-to-wheel protection of the rockers Design helps keep trees away from the body sides while having a step for easier entry Durable black powder coated finish Made in the USA
