Solitude Rusty Spinner

The Solitude Rusty Spinner is an essential dry fly pattern designed to imitate the final, "spent" stage of a wide variety of mayfly species, particularly those with rust-colored bodies like PMDs and Sulphurs. This low-profile pattern features splayed wings and a thin body that lie flat in the surface film, perfectly mimicking the dying, protein-rich insect after it has mated and fallen onto the water. It is most effective during the calm, low-light conditions of the evening or early morning spinner fall, which often brings large, selective trout to the surface. Solitude, Dry Fly, Mayfly, PMD
