Rustic Poplar Fireplace Mantel Shelf

Quick Answer: The Dogberry Collections Rustic Poplar Mantel is a fireplace mantel shelf with a deliberately distressed surface finish - available in 36"-72" widths, six color options, and two depth profiles. It delivers authentic aged character with the structural reliability of new hardwood. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.7 stars · 5,200+ verified reviews on Wayfair — one of Dogberry's highest-rated fireplace mantels. Where reclaimed wood brings unpredictability, the Rustic Poplar Mantel brings controlled character. Our craftsmen distress the surface of the poplar wood to replicate decades of natural aging - knocks, wire-brushing, and worn edges - then apply a hand-finished stain that settles into every groove. The result is a fireplace mantel shelf that looks like it's been in the family for generations, without the weight, inconsistency, or splinter risk of actual antique lumber.
