Rustic Floating Shelf

A rustic shelf should look like it has a little history in it, not like a printed woodgrain sticker wrapped around MDF. This one is real wood with a genuinely textured, unfinished surface — the kind of worked grain that reads warm and lived-in rather than factory-smooth. Choose it in White Oak for a classic look, Walnut for richer, darker tones, or Alder for the most character of the three, since alder's natural knots and small cracks lean right into the rustic feel. It comes in a choice of fixed sizes: 6- or 8-inch depth, in lengths of 12, 24, 36, 42, or 60 inches. It is a lightweight, hollow build that hangs on an included wood bracket — a simpler mount than our steel Studlock shelves, and an easy install — rated to hold up to 20 pounds when fastened securely to a stud. That makes it the value option in the lineup: real, textured hardwood for books, plants, and everyday decor, without the price of a full custom shelf. Made in the USA, it ships unfinished so the texture and grain stay honest.
