Product Overview: RUPES 7" (180mm) D-A INTERMEDIATE Cut & Finish Light Blue Foam Pad for 6" (150mm) Backup Pads (9.DA180B) is designed for use on random orbital and gear driven tools such as the RUPES BigFoot LRH21, RUPES Bigfoot HLR21, and RUPES BigFoot LK900 Mille. The D-A INTERMEDIATE light blue foam pad joins the RUPES D-A Series foam pad range, positioning in between D-A FINE yellow pad and D-A COARSE blue pad. It is the most versatile foam pad in the BigFoot range and can be used with several RUPES compounds, such as D-A COARSE and D-A FINE as well as RUPES protectants UNO ADVANCED and UNO PROTECT. It has the polishing power to remove severe defects from a wide variety of painted and solid surfaces when paired with RUPES D-A COARSE blue compound. When used with RUPES D-A FINE yellow polishing compound, it removes moderate-to-fine defects and creates a high-gloss finish. The highly engineered foam formula really shines when paired with UNO PROTECT or UNO ADVANCED for final polishing and creating a durable layer of surface protection. Made in the USA. Sold one pad per package. Bulk discounts available. Genuine RUPES pads are engineered with precision to achieve optimal tool balance, ensuring effective vibration control. Pair with RUPES compounds and protectants for best results. Prime foam pads before use by applying the compound in an "X" on the surface, then run the tool at speed 2 for 20 seconds. Apply additional 1-4 small dots in the remaining empty spaces and bein the polishing process. Reload the pad with small amounts of compound, typically only a few drops; oversaturating the pad with compound can lead to diminished performance. Clean pads frequently during use with compressed air, a vacuum or RUPES Claw Pad Tool to maintain consistent performance. Avoid the use of solvent-based compounds and cleaners to prevent damage to the pads structure. Use minimum of 2 pads per vehicle, swapping in 15-minute intervals. After use, clean pads with warm water and a mild soap, rinse well to remove residue, air dry.
