Runner (B&W Series) #1

Mixed Media Our Gift To You ~ 'The Art of Peter Max' unsigned hardcover, coffee table, art book delivered with your order of a Mixed Media. Website orders only and for a limited time. A uniquely-overpainted lithograph, hand-signed and embossed with water-color and colored pencil. Peter Max's 'Runner' is full of motion and striking high-contrast. The runner, drawn in max's graceful, fluid line work, seems to emerge from the lush, raven background. His white form is further illuminated with hand-colored soft color washes and kinetic colored pencil swirls with more color embellishment added in the margins and on the embossment seal.  Peter Max has experimented with the printing arts for over a half-century, adding color, line work and embellishments to his printed art - creating distinctive mixed media works.  2016 8.25" x 6" ©ALP, Inc.
