Rundhals Pullover Crew Neck Sweater - Ink

Founded in 2016 by Christian Hofmann, whose experience includes a 12-year career at Ralph Lauren and a lifelong passion for the outdoors, Heimat Textil is based out of and produced in Germany. Every piece they make is built to last, with a solid construction that only gets better with time, softening and breaking in from wear. The company name, Heimat is a German word without a direct translation in English — best explained as a comfortable and secure feeling that comes from being where you belong. Heimat's primary focus as a brand is quality, working with the very best materials and using the most sustainable production techniques to create heirloom-quality staples with German sensibilities. Their garments are made to be lived in, taken outdoors and subjected to the elements, keeping up with your lifestyle — whatever it may be. The designs are classic and stripped of excess, versatile by way of their minimalism, comfortably fitting into a wide variety of different wardrobes. The Rundhals Crew Neck Sweater is a spring/summer knit pullover with an old school fit and a surprisingly-breathable body. It's got a tapered torso, with a thick crew neck and tight ribbing at the hem and cuffs, which feature Heimat's signature knit stripe details. The collar and sleeves are sewn into the body by hand to ensure quality. For the warmer seasons, these are made with a specially sourced cotton/hemp yarn, for a less heavy and body that insulates less and dries faster than the standard wool. It's got a comfortable medium weight throughout, with a handsome drape and a soft hand thanks to the cotton content. Over time, the knit will relax slightly, loosening up a bit and taking on the shape of the wearer's body. Fits true to size with a snug, vintage fit.
