Leather Holster for Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Mag Long Barrel Tested fit for the Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk .44 Mag with a 7.5-inch barrel. This genuine buffalo leather holster is built for strong-side OWB carry and provides a secure, traditional setup for long-barrel Super Blackhawk revolvers. The holster measures approximately 9 inches in overall length and uses an open-bottom design, allowing longer barrels to extend naturally beyond the holster body. It is available for both right-hand and left-hand carry and comes in black, brown, and tan. Built for the Ruger Super Blackhawk This is a dedicated Ruger Super Blackhawk leather holster, not a generic universal revolver pouch. The fit has been physically tested using a Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Mag with a 7.5-inch barrel. The leather body supports the revolver through the frame and cylinder area while keeping the grip accessible for a clean strong-side draw. This holster uses an open-bottom design, giving the 7.5-inch Super Blackhawk barrel natural clearance while also allowing additional barrel length to extend below the leather body. The approximately 9-inch holster body still provides substantial coverage around the revolver while keeping the muzzle area unrestricted. Strong-Side OWB Carry This holster is designed specifically for outside-the-waistband strong-side carry. Choose the hand orientation that matches your draw: Right-hand: Worn on the right side for a right-handed draw Left-hand: Worn on the left side for a left-handed draw The wide belt loop accepts belts up to approximately 4 inches wide, making the holster suitable for traditional Western belts as well as many heavy-duty leather carry belts. For a more stable carry setup, pair the holster with one of our genuine leather belts. A firm leather belt helps reduce holster movement and keeps the revolver positioned consistently during wear. Genuine Buffalo Leather Construction The holster is made from genuine buffalo leather, selected for its strength, durability, and ability to develop character with regular use. Each holster has a hand-finished, hand-tooled appearance that gives it the traditional character expected from Western leather gear. Because genuine leather is a natural material, minor variations in grain, shade, and surface character are normal and make each piece slightly different. Hammer Retention Strap A leather hammer retention strap helps secure the revolver during normal movement, riding, outdoor use, and everyday carry. The strap provides additional retention while still allowing straightforward access when the revolver needs to be drawn.
