GORUCK Rucker 5.0

GORUCK Rucker 5.0 - The Original Rucking Backpack with Ruck Plate Pockets, 1000D CORDURA, and Scars Lifetime Guarantee - Available in 20L and 25L The GORUCK Rucker 5.0 is the patented, purpose-built rucking backpack that defined the modern rucking movement - now in its most refined and capable iteration after ten years and millions of miles of real-world testing at driveway workouts, Ruck Club meetups, and GORUCK Events worldwide. Built from 1000D CORDURA with 210D High Tenacity CORDURA on the back panel and strap undersides for skin and apparel-friendly contact, the Rucker 5.0 is engineered specifically for carrying weight high and tight on your back - the biomechanically correct position that engages your core, supports your spine, and delivers the full-body training benefits of rucking. New for 5.0: a 30mm high-density EVA foam lumbar pad contoured to your spine's natural curve for maximum lower back support under load, and upgraded magnetic internal pocket closures that are silent, snag-free, and maintenance-free for the life of the pack. Dual elevated Ruck Plate pockets - a short pocket fitting 10, 20, or 30 lb Standard Ruck Plates and a long pocket fitting 30 or 45 lb Long Ruck Plates - carry up to 75 lbs of plates with stress points tested to over 400 lbs. Four padded handles (top, bottom, and both sides) enable suitcase carries, overhead presses, thrusters, and the full range of Ruck PT movements. A built-in 3mm full-width frame sheet maintains pack integrity under heavy loads, and three rows of external MOLLE webbing support full customization including the optional Padded Hip Belt (sold separately) for long-distance load distribution. The Rucker 5.0 is available in 20L (11.5"W x 18"H x 5.5"D) and 25L (12"W x 20"H x 6.75"D) - with the 20/20 rule as the recommended starting point: a 20L Rucker with a 20 lb Ruck Plate for most people. Additional features include a removable and adjustable training sternum strap, internal D-ring and hydration tube exit port for bladder compatibility, bottom grommet drain holes, hi-vis reflective stripe rated at 300 cd/lux m² for low-light visibility, silent YKK zippers with parachute 550 cord pulls, a rainproof highly water-resistant construction, and two 2"x3" hook-and-loop patch panels for personalization. The clamshell flat-open design makes packing and organizing straightforward - a feature shared with Special Forces medical rucks. Every GORUCK Rucker 5.0 is covered by the Scars Lifetime Guarantee - if you wear it out or damage it through use, GORUCK will repair or replace it with no proof of purchase required and no time limit. For ruckers, HYROX athletes, GORUCK event participants, and fitness-focused individuals who want the most capable, durable, and well-engineered weighted training rucksack available, the GORUCK Rucker 5.0 has no equal.
