Ruby in Zoisite Statement Sphere 8.3" | 33.62lb

This striking Ruby in Zoisite sphere is a true statement piece, measuring 8.3 inches in diameter and weighing an impressive 33.62 pounds. The polished surface features a dramatic mix of deep green zoisite, darker earthy matrix, and ruby-bearing zones that appear more heavily in some areas than others—giving the stone a bold, natural, uneven character rather than a perfectly uniform look. Under a 365nm UV light, the ruby-rich sections can fluoresce in vivid pink-red tones, creating a beautiful contrast against the darker host stone. This sphere shows natural variation throughout, with some areas displaying stronger green zoisite and ruby fluorescence, while other sections are darker with a more subtle UV response. That contrast is part of the stone’s natural character and gives the piece a different look from every angle. Stand and fully insured shipping included.
