Whether you’re exploring digital worlds or rediscovering the joy of playing records again, MR1 Mk3 turns everyday listening into something extraordinary, for a sound you’ll always come back to.  Since 1985, Ruark Audio has designed and engineered all their music systems in-house, driven by an enduring commitment to audio excellence. The MR1 Mk3 brings four decades of innovation and craftsmanship together in one beautifully balanced speakers system. Big Sound, Compact Form Winner of What Hi-Fi’s Best Desktop Speaker award for seven years, the MR1 Mk2 became a firm favourite, but the Mk3 improves upon this greatness with a sound that’s simply exceptional. The new handcrafted cabinets provide ideal acoustic properties and with their bevelled front edges and Slate Grey grilles, now look even more stylish. Size wise the enclosures have been subtly enlarged to allow optimum volume for their new NS+ Bass/Mid units and for amplification they've adapted the Class D technology used in their R410, for a sizable increase in power output and control. Painstaking optimization of the speaker crossover and reflex tuning have resulted in a significant leap in acoustic performance. The MR1 Mk3 delivers deeper bass, a clear lucid midrange, and exceptional high frequency detail from our custom 20mm silk dome tweeters, so from the shimmer of cymbals to the resonance of a cello, every nuance is delivered with clarity and depth. Your Sound, Your Way The MR1 Mk3 has been designed to be versatile, so no matter how you listen, they adapt to you. Equipped with Bluetooth aptX HD, they deliver pristine high resolution wireless playback and with switchable connections including a combined analogue/optical input, USB audio input and a dedicated turntable input you can easily plug in auxiliary devices of your choice.
