The ISR-4 combines cutting-edge design and advanced functionality, with a stunning edge-to-edge capacitive touchscreen encased in a sleek aluminum frame. Art meets engineering for an elevated control experience throughout the home, and the ISR-4 is equally 'at home' in the executive boardroom. The ISR-4's brilliant 4" display delivers a smartphone-like user experience, with easy swipe and ample space for viewing cover art, camera feeds, lighting controls, and more. Fully customizable soft keys sit below the display, ideal for selecting scenes from 'good morning' to 'good night,' while the soft-touch backlit buttons deliver effortless control of your audio and video systems. The intuitive 5-way thumbpad, full transport controls, and real-time haptic feedback ensure every interaction is smooth and responsive, ideal for today's streaming world. The ISR-4 features advanced Wi-Fi technology for instant and reliable network connectivity. Plus, its built-in accelerometer activates the remote as soon as it's picked up, ensuring it's always ready for action without any delay. Meanwhile, the ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display brightness to match the room's lighting conditions for optimal visibility. The ISR-4 intelligently hibernates when not in use, delivering up to 4-5 days of battery life between charges with typical use. Plus, the included ISR-SB charging base ensures the remote is always ready when you need it. The ISR-4 programs only with RTI Integration Designer 11 to deliver a 100% customizable experience exclusive to RTI control and automation systems. Included in the box: ISR-4, charging base, power supply (5V, 2A) Notes ISR Best Practices Intended Deployment: The new ISR-4 and ISR-2 intelligent surface remote controls are designed to function as room controllers within the RTI ecosystem. As room controllers, they can manage all sources within the same room while also controlling global sources like lighting, thermostats, and more"”just like any RTI room controller. Wi-Fi Connectivity Best Practices The new ISR-4 and ISR-2 are Wi-Fi-based remote controllers operating on the 2.4GHz frequency. They feature a low-power IoT instant-connect Wi-Fi module, ensuring near-instantaneous network connectivity while maximizing battery life. The ISRs support connecting to a single SSID for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, including access points with band-steering. However, with certain networking brands, band-steering may require the ISRs to be directed to the 2.4GHz band and potentially restricted from accessing the 5GHz band. If connectivity issues arise with a dual-band SSID, best practice is to disable band-steering or configure a fixed 2.4GHz connection to the desired access point.
