RT4100 Racing Seat

The Racetech RT4100 Racing Seat is a premium standard-size fiberglass bucket seat engineered for club racers, track-day enthusiasts, and street/strip drag cars. With a shell weight starting at just 5.7 kg (≈ 12.6 lbs), this lightweight race seat delivers a perfect balance of comfort, safety, and performance. Built with optimized geometry, the RT4100 is wide enough in the shoulders to accommodate athletic builds yet narrow enough to fit in most cockpits — making it ideal for a broad range of vehicles and driver physiques. Drawing on proven technology from Racetech’s acclaimed 119 and 129 Series, RT4100 includes back-mount compatibility, allowing you to fix the seat to a roll cage at shoulder level — a feature that enhances safety and driver stability in high-G conditions. Large harness guides support up to a six-point harness, while a removable molded base cushion makes the seat adaptable to drivers of varying heights. Combined with breathable Spacer-mesh fabric, parallel-side construction, and pronounced thigh support — the RT4100 remains comfortable even during long sessions on track. For larger drivers, the RT4100WT (Wide & Tall) option adds approximately 2.25" in height and 1.5" in width — providing extra room without sacrificing the seat’s secure fit or lightweight feel. FIA 8855-1999 homologated and HANS-compatible, the RT4100 is a safe, versatile, and track-ready solution for club racing, drag racing, rally, or any motorsport discipline where performance and reliability matter.
