Priced only 9% higher, it's a favored choice for families of 2-6 people with moderate to high water consumption in a 2-filter configuration. Similar to the Big Berkey, the Royal filter supports up to 4 Black Berkey Filters & Fluoride Filters and comes with the Berkey Care Lifetime Warranty, an exclusive benefit for Berkey Filters customers. This larger size was introduced after careful consideration of customer feedback and research. Users of the Big and Travel Berkey expressed the need for a higher capacity filter due to their normal-sized families and unique lifestyles. These customers utilized the filtered water for various purposes, including drinking, cooking, pets, plants, and more. Often leading active lifestyles in warmer climates, they demanded a filter that could keep up with their increased water consumption, including drinks like tea and coffee. *Not yet available in Iowa or California* Specifications Royal Berkey Water Filter System Filtered Water Capacity 3.25 Gallons (11.5 L) Product Dimensions 9.5 x 9.5 x 24.0 inches Product Dimensions w/ No Knob Installed 9.5 x 9.5 x 23.0 inches Product Dimensions w/ Optional Stand 10 x 10 x 30.0 inches Product Dimensions (Nested) 9.5 x 9.5 x 16.0 inches Weight Empty 8 lbs Weight Full (Lower Chamber Full) 35.10 lbs Material High polish 304 stainless steel Spigot (Included) Material BPA-free, FDA-approved, high-impact polypropylene $568 with 4 Black Berkey Filters Filtration Speed (Gallons Per Hour) Up to 3.5 GPH with 2 Black Berkey Filters (standard configuration) Up to 7.0 GPH with 4 Black Berkey Filters Availability Not yet available in Iowa or California (Learn Why)   Black Berkey Filters: Contaminants Addressed Black Berkey® Elements reduce trihalomethanes, inorganic minerals, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, VOCs, petroleum products, perfluorinated chemicals, rust, silt, sediment, and even radiological.
