Rowan Cropped Sweatshirt Utility Jacket

This cropped utility jacket is built from Triple Terry, a soft-to-the-touch, combed three-yarn cotton knit that strikes that rare balance between structure and softness — think your favorite sweatshirt, elevated into something you'd reach for on top of a blouse or a simple tank. The exaggerated collar and roomy utility pockets give it a little edge, while the raw-edge detailing and easy-to-scrunch sleeves keep it feeling lived-in from the first wear. Frank & Eileen's knitwear is knit, sewn, washed, and dyed locally by Los Angeles-based artisans, keeping production close to home and jobs within the community. Sustainability: Frank & Eileen is a certified B Corp and woman-owned, woman-led company. Their California-made knitwear is produced under B Corp–approved fair labor standards with local artisan partners — a small-batch, ethically made approach to slow fashion. CARE Wash separately in cold water before the first wear to prevent color transfer. After that, machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low. STYLED BY LADDER Layer this cropped cotton knit jacket over a fitted tank and wide-leg trousers for an easy, elevated everyday look, or throw it over a simple linen dress when the evening air turns cool. ABOUT FRANK & EILEEN Frank & Eileen was founded in 2009 by former engineer Audrey McLoghlin, who set out to reinvent the button-up for women in a category that had, until then, been designed almost exclusively for men. Named for her Irish grandparents, the brand has grown into a certified B Corp and remains 100% woman-owned and woman-led — a rarity among fashion labels of its size. While the brand built its name on Italian-milled shirting fabrics, its knitwear, including this piece, is produced by artisans in Frank & Eileen's own Southern California backyard, keeping craft and community close to home.
