Alcon/DBA DIV2146X037/DBA replacement brake Rotors (pair)

Alcon Replacement Rotors 355mm x 32mm (13.98” x 1.26”) - P.C.D. 235mm - I.D. 250mm - D50 We have two options for replacement of these Alcon designed rotors. For racing and high performance use we recommend the Alcon/Pro-Systems replacement rotor. For a more affordable version we carry Paragon Performance Rotors. Alcon/Pro Systems versions are machined at our facility in Mooresville, North Carolina from specially formulated grey cast iron providing the best in thermal stability, friction coefficient and heat transfer characteristics. These rotors are Dyno-bedded after being precision machined. Dyno-bedding ensures the most reliable and stable rotor the moment you put it on the car. This also helps reduce or eliminate the potential for brake shudder due to improper bedding. These rotors are made to order and will take 4-6 weeks to deliver. Used in the highest level of motorsports including Daytona Prototypes, GT, and TransAm you are guaranteed the best rotor for your braking needs. Paragon Rotors are made of CM-250 special formulated high carbon alloy cast iron, it allows for an optimal bite, thermal characteristics, high-temperature strength and durability. Rotor rings are heat treated to release stress in the rotor to avoid deformation and vibration then turned by state-of-the-art CBN surface machining to ensure better break-in with new brake pads. These rotors offer solid performance on a budget and go through rigorous quality control procedures and inspections to ensure the rotor rings are fit for their purposes. These rotors take 2-3 weeks to deliver. Additional information: Floating 2-piece rotors allow thermal expansion of the rotor while minimizing deformation and ensuring the rotor is self-centered with the pads. Slotting improves braking consistency by maintaining a clean contact surface and dissipate heat generated and gases released when the pads come into contact with the rotors. Slotted rotors have a superior advantage over blank rotors in wet or raining conditions by preventing water films to form between the brake pad and rotor surface. We do not offer drilled rotors as these will almost always crack over time requiring replacement much earlier. Weight Savings. Two piece rotors weigh less than most O.E. rotors while maintaining proper thermal capacity, this improves overall handling by saving unsprung mass. Directional ventilation vanes for optimal cooling performance and increased resistance to cracking. Run up to 30% cooler than O.E. rotors and increase cooling efficiency of heat removal. Extra/replacement hardware is available for purchase. We recommend using new hardware when replacing rotors to ensure the rotor ring is attached to the aluminum hat properly.
